Shwetha Menon, Jayaram and Kadhal Sandhya join Bhagyaraj for Thunai Mudalvar

In the upcoming Tamil film, Thunai Mudalvar, directed by R Vivekanandhan, three Malayali actors will be seen with director-actor Bhagyaraj.
The film is a political comedy and Shwetha Menon plays a Trivandrum girl, who marries a Tamil politician, played by Bhagyaraj.
The director says, “Shwetha Menon plays a Trivandrum girl who falls in love with Bhagyaraj’s character when he visits her village, and marries him later.She is doing a Tamil film after a long break. Shwetha is happy to make a comeback to the industry alongside Bhagyaraj Sir.”
Jayaram plays Bhagyaraj’s best friend and the director says their comic moments are some of the best sequences of the film. “Kadhal Sandhya is Jayaram’s pair in Thunai Mudalvar, and it is Bhagyaraj’s character who helps them get married,” says Vivekanandhan. The story is based in a village where both Bhagyaraj and Jayaram are the good Samaritans. “The Chief Minister learns about them and decides to entrust them with certain responsibilities and that is the crux of the story,” he says.
