Kabara refuses protection of oil with weapons

NNA - Member of Parliament Mohammed Kabara vehemently rejected the argument of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah that Lebanon oil and gas wealth should be protected by the weapons of the Lebanese resistance.

"Nasrallah has shut down the door before the international companies to bid for the oil and gas exploration in Lebanon and has even left the door open for Iran and what is left of the so called steadfastness states to bid for these tenders," the MP said.

He added that March 14 refuses to allow the weapons which assassinated political figures in Lebanon to be part of the oil protection.

"Nasrallah does not leave an opportunity to stick the weapons of the resistance in the alleged defense strategy and now he wants it to be part of protecting the oil wealth."

The MP suggested that Nasrallah's speech has scared away all the potential investors in the oil wealth in Lebanon.

Kabara accused Hezbollah of seeking to seize Lebanon's oil wealth just as they did when they invaded Beirut in May 7 2009.
