CHENNAI: Chitrang Murdia of Rajasthan has secured the top rank in the JEE (Advanced) test.
IIT-Kharagpur, which co-ordinated the test this year, released the results on Thursday. Results of the test will determine admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology across the country.
Murdia, who secured an overall score of 334/360 in the test, is something of a maths whiz, losing just three marks in the section.

Aditi from the IIT-Roorkee zone is the topper among female candidates. She secured an all India rank of seven.
The all India second ranker is from the IIT-Madras zone, which comprises Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, and some parts of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
More than 27,000 have met the required cut off marks in the exam, touted as one of the toughest competitive exams in the country. These candidates will vie for more than 9,000 seats in the IITs this year.
