Nayan to Team Up With Aari

It was only recently that Nayanthara was seen in a female-centric thriller Nee Enge En Anbey, a remake of Kahaani. Now, we hear the actress will be playing the lead in a horror film that will be directed by newcomer Ashwin Saravanan.

The film, tentatively titled Night Show, will see the actress pairing up with Aari of Nedunchaalai fame.

Says a source, "Since this is a small budget film, the makers were initially looking at low profile actresses. But when they approached Nayanthara, she immediately agreed after listening to the script, even though she is doing many star films right now.

It is a very unusual horror film and the plot revolves around Nayan's character and her relationship with a child."

Currently, Nayan is acting in Idhu Naama Aalu with Simbu, Nanbenda with Udhayanidhi Stalin and Thani Oruvan with Jayam Ravi. She is also part of Suriya's untitled film with Venkat Prabhu.

Sathya, who has worked in Yuddham Sei and Mugamoodi, has been roped in as the cameraman while Suresh is the editor.

Nayanthara is expected to start shooting for the film, which will be a quickie, from next week.
