Three-year-old burnt alive as house catches fire in Fakharpur

A three years old child was burnt alive when a house caught fire at Haibatpur village in Fakharpur on Monday.Two other children sleeping in the house managed to save their lives.

BAHRAICH: A three years old child was burnt alive when a house caught fire at Haibatpur village in Fakharpur on Monday. Two other children sleeping in the house managed to save their lives. There parents were not present at the time of the incident.
Salmun, wife of Museebat, a rickshaw puller, made her youngest son Jalalu alias Chhotu (3) sleep on the cot and went to the field to get fodder for the cattle.

She asked her elder sons Ramzan (5) and Ashraf (4) to take care of Chhotu. Suddenly the house caught fire. Ramzan and Ashraf managed to come out of the house but Chhotu kept on sleeping and he was burnt to death.
The villagers heard the shrieks and rushed to the spot. Salmun got fainted when she came to know about Chhotu.
The SDM of Kaiserganj and the police reached the spot. The fire was extinguished with the help of villagers. Financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh would be provided to the bereaved family after inquiry.
