Bandidos associate on drug charges after Southern River raid

An associate of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang has been hit with cash, weapon and drug charges after a raid on a Southern River home on Monday.

Detectives from the Gang Crime Squad executed a search warrant on a Southern River home at 5pm in an attempt to disrupt the unlawful activities of the gang, police spokesman Sam Dinnison said.

It was revealed yesterday that a senior Bandido had been charged with a string of drug-related offences, after allegedy fleeing police at speeds of up to 200km/h.

Police located $15,000 inside the Southern River home, as well as an electronic stun gun.

A 35-year-old Southern River woman has been charged with receiving cash and possessing a prohibited weapon.

The woman has also been charged with two counts of conspiracy to sell or supply methylamphetamine as a result of other inquiries.

She is scheduled to appear in court on July 15.
