BASKETBALL: Fenerbahce to fight for Turkish Beko title

ANKARA 

Galatasaray Liv Hospital beat Fenerbahce Ulker 85-77 at their home court in Abdi Ipekci Sports Hall on Monday night in the sixth match of 2013-14 Turkish Beko Basketball playoffs.

The results now means that Fenerbahce will have to fight for the title in the seventh and last match of the league in 2013-14 Turkish Beko Basketball League playoffs to be played in Fenerbahce's home court, Fenerbahce Ulker Arena on June 19, Thursday. The title match tips off at 21:00 local time in Turkey.

Home team Galatasaray Liv Hospital tied in the playoffs thanks to the efforts of Serbian forward Zoran Erceg scoring 19 points, English forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu completing the clash with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Puerto Rican playmaker Carlos Arroyo scoring 19 points and making 9 assists. They were followed by Turkish forward Cenk Akyol with 12 points.

The away team Fenerbahce Ulker tried to retaliate with their Turkish-Bosnian shooting guard Emir Preldzic scoring 19 points, Serbian forward Nemanja Bjelica and Croatian center Luka Zoric scoring 11 points each and Croatian forward Bojan Bogdanovic completing the clash with 15 points.
