Yash Dasgupta beats up wife, lands in jail!

Yash Dasgupta, who is popularly known as Aranya Singha Roy aka ASR of Star Jalsha's Bojhena Shey Bojhena is behind the bars.
The actor is in Sonarpur lock-up from Sunday afternoon. Yash, who has a daughter with his wife, has been arrested following an FIR by his wife for torturing her. A close source said, “Tourture complaint, under Section 498 A of the IPC, has been lodged against Yash. The couple has been living separately for quite a long time but Yash’s daughter used to stay with him and his parents.”
Will the serial, which has garnered mass popularity because of Pakhi-ASR’s romance, suffer because of Yash’s absence now, we ask the channel? “Bojhena Shey Bojhena will run as it is.To us, the story matters and not any particular actor or actress. We at the channel believe that a serial runs on its own merit, its strong storyline and execution,” said Madhuja Banerjee, programming head of Star Jalsha.
Soumik Chattopadhyay, director of the serial said, “We work in advance and we have a banking of at least three-four episodes. So the serial will run in its own course. We will slightly change the storyline not because of Yash’s absence but it was pre-determined. We shot till early Sunday morning and everything was fine. But we are not encroaching on anybody's personal matter and whatever happens with Yash Dasgupta will have no effect whatsoever on the serial.”
