RBGI students secure top positions in PTU courses

ROPAR, June 16: The students of 1st semester, B Com (Professional ) of Rayat Institute of Management, Railmajra created history by capturing three  out of first five positions in merit list of Nov 2013 examinations held by PTU, Jalandhar.
What makes history is the fact that the first position along with the third and fifth positions in PTU’s merit lists belong to RIM, Railmajra. The meritorious students of 1st Semester B Com (Professional) include Prabhjit Kaur, first in PTU with 81.33% marks, Amanjeet Kaur (Third with 80.16%), Radhika Vohra (Fifth, 78.50%).
Giving overall information of RBGI students triumph, Chairman S Gurvinder Singh Bahra said that Vikas Rana from RBIEBT Mohali campus has topped the B Tech (Electronic and Computer Engineering) third semester exams in the results declared by Punjab Technical University (PTU) yesterday. He secured 80.93 percent marks.
More than 80 students of RBGI Secured top positions in all courses in PTU merit list.
Six students from Rayat Bahra campuses have bagged the top positions in results declared by PTU yesterday. The students include Shivashi Misri of B Tech (Electronic and Computer Engineering) fifth semester securing 83.70 percent marks, Mitali Sethis from HMCT 1st semester securing 86.93 percent marks, Sharad Arora from B Sc (HMCT) first semester securing 85.08 percent marks, Jasmeen Kaur from B Pharma third semester securing 83.70 percent marks and Prabhjit Kaur from B Com. securing 81.33 percent.
The students who have achieved second position include Archi Mittal seventh semester student of B Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Rayat Bahra institute at Patiala securing 89.70 percent marks, Paramveer Singh third semester student of B Tech Electrical Engineering from Rayat Bahra institute at Railmajra securing 88.60 marks, Ravinder Kaur fifth semester student of B Sc  (ATHM) securing 84 percent marks, Merin Chacko third semester student of B Pharma, Bhupinder Kaur first semester student of M Pharma, Prabhsimar Kaur third semester student of B Tech (Electronic and Computer Engineering) and Jaswinder Kaur fifth semester student of B Tech Electronic and computer engineering.
