Two persons from the city qualified the Civil Services Examination-2013 and their dreams of becoming an office IAS officer would be fulfilled.

BAHRAICH: Two persons from the city qualified the Civil Services Examination-2013 and their dreams of becoming an office IAS officer would be fulfilled.
Ashish Kumar Shukla, a resident of Dhanawa Bahduriya village in Mehsi area is a veterinary officer at Katra Ekauna in Shravasti district, where he prepared for the examination. He secured 253rd rank.
Ashish says that has been selected for IFS as well but he did not join. He said that he used his leaves in the preparation. His main subject was veterinary science.
Parasmani Tripathi, the Intermediate topper of 2001 batch of Navodaya School and son of retired teacher Ramdheeraj Tripathi, a resident of Pandeypurwa in Bhinga secured 391st rank in the examination. He is currently posted as district forest officer (DFO) in Arunachal Pradesh.
His wife Garima Tripathi had motivated him to be an IAS officer. Parasmani studied engineering from a college in Kozikode.
Later, he worked as scientist in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, where he prepared for the examination.
