Super excited about working with Akon: Arfi Lamba

Actor Arfi Lamba, who has been a part of such prestigious international projects as Slumdog Millionaire (he played a cameo) and Prague (a very niche film) in the past, has bagged another international project and he is working with Akon in it.
Talking about the film, Arfi, who was in Vadodara to promote Fugly, says, “I am working with Akon on an international film and feel very happy about it.While it is too early to share details, it is one of those films that travel to prestigious film festivals at places like Cannes. So, it is going to be a really wonderful journey and I feel super excited.”

Asked about doing an out-and-out commercial film like Fugly after his previous movie outings, Arfi says, “It is all about playing a challenging role and whether a film is a commercial one or not does not really matter. In Fugly, I play a very middle-class guy with whom anyone can relate. At the same time, playing such characters is not as easy as it sounds. And as an actor, I will be foolish not to jump into a project which has the backing of superstars like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. I am very lucky to be a part of this film.”
