At 75,000, 150 CC, Suzuki Gixxer Bike On The Way

BANGALORE: Looking for options on the 150cc bikes? Here’s an addition to it. Suzuki will launch its 150cc bike ‘Gixxer’ in August, and the company says the Chassis and the engine are designed by engineers who designed the GSX-R series of sport bikes.

The Gixxer comes with a 150cc engine, which gives out a max power output of 13.8 BHP with a 13.4 Nm of torque mated to a five speed gear box. The other sporty cosmetic updates on the bike includes an exhaust muffler with two outlets, a fully digital display console, an LED tail light and has an electric and a kick starter too. The engine comes with the Suzuki eco performance technology, which offers good riding performance with a wide low end torque and good mid range power to provide solid acceleration.

The bike comes with a telescopic suspension set up on the front and a mono shock on the rear. The bike is equipped with tubeless tyres and has a disk brake with a 15 litre fuel tank.

The bike is expected to be priced at around 75, 000, and competes against the likes of FZ-16, CB trigger and unicorn.
