Koderma abduction: Cops find Maoists' bikes
RANCHI: Police on Thursday recovered three motorcycles, which were allegedly taken away by armed CPI (Maoist) cadres from a village in Koderma, one of the Maoist-affected districts in Jharkhand.
Six villagers, who assaulted one of the cadres of the local guerrilla squad on Tuesday, were also allegedly abducted by the Maoists.
A villager named Suraj Singh and his friends were not aware of the man's identity and manhandled him and took away his mobile phone near Dhab market on Tuesday, police said on Thursday.

On the same night, a group of armed rebels came to Dhab village and took the men along with them.
Koderma SP Sangita Kumari said no ransom call was received at the residence of Singh or his associates.
"Since the area has presence of Maoists their involvement could not be ruled out," she said.
Koderma police said after Thursday's development, they were hopeful that the six villagers would also be found.
