BJP workers protest against poor power supply in rural areas

VARANASI: The workers of Bharatiya Janata Party held demonstration at Ledhupur power station in Sarnath on Thursday in protest against erratic power supply in rural area. They demanded round-the-clock power supply like urban area.
Senior BJP leader Vibhuti Narayan Rai called on the district magistrate and submitted a memorandum, demanding uninterrupted power supply.
The DM visited Jeetapur village in Araziline block on Thursday and came to know that people were getting 3-4 hours of supply. He instructed the officials to ensure power supply as per roster schedule.
