Kyle Nape, most recently SVP, lifting group, at Sany America, has moved to a new job as district manager for Link-Belt. Nape, formerly of Manitowoc was called as a witness by the Wisconsin-based manufacturer in its trade secrets complaint against Sany.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Nape has worked in the crane industry for almost 35 years, starting his career at P&H in the early 1990s, before spending ten years with Manitowoc as VP of sales and then VP and general manager, Latin America. In May 2010, he moved to Sany America, where he worked first as VP global sales and marketing, and then as SVP, lifting group, North America. Manitowoc called him as a witness in its USITC complaint against Sany America, linked to the development of Sany's ACE floating counterweight system.

In May of this year, he took a sabbatical from Sany America. Link-Belt announced his appointment as district manager, covering a region including Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

Link-Belt North American Sales Manager, Skeeter Collins, said, "Kyle's experience with crane equipment throughout the world will greatly benefit our distributors and their customers, as well as our company. He will be a great fit, especially given the variety of crane work being done in that part of the country."
