NOIDA: The Regional Transport Office has served notices to 160 schools, seeking data about the engagement of buses. Only 12 schools have so far submitted the data to Regional Transport Office.
Rachna Yaduvanshi, assistant regional transport officer said that all the big schools have submitted the data regarding engagement of school-owned buses and transporters' buses in the school for ferrying students.

"The schools are not supposed to charge transport fees from students travelling in school-owned buses. We will analyse the data and then take appropriate steps," Yaduvanshi said.
She said that relatively smaller schools were reluctant to provide the sought data. "We are again going to serve them notices to submit the information within a week, failing which action would be taken," said the assistant RTO.
