A high-level Delhi Police team led by special commissioner of police (operations) Sundari Nanda, is going to Surat in Gujarat to study the CCTV system installed in the city based on public-private partnership mode.

NEW DELHI: A high-level Delhi Police team led by special commissioner of police (operations) Sundari Nanda, is going to Surat in Gujarat to study the CCTV system installed in the city based on public-private partnership mode.
“Studying the sustainable practices already in place in Surat would help more public participation in the endeavour of making Delhi safer,” an official statement said.
“Currently, the CCTV network in Delhi is only funded by the government,” the statement added. The system has been helpful in prevention and detection of crime.
The team also consists of a technical team of deputy commissioner of police (communication) Naved Mumtaz, additional DCP (communication) Satyawan Gautam and others.
