Living individuals should not be included in school curriculum: Narendra Modi

Gujarat government has shelved its plan to include Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life story in textbook after Narendra Modi raised red flag.
Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma told media persons that the state government has taken a decision to drop the idea of including Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life and political affairs in state’s textbooks.
It should be mentioned that Shri Narendra Modi had in his three tweeted opposed the idea of including chapter of living person in text books. Shri Modi tweeted: I am reading that some states want to include Narendra Modi’s life struggles as part of their school curriculum. I firmly believe that the life story of living individuals should not be included as a part of the school curriculum. Young minds should read about the great stalwarts of India who made our nation what it is and emulate them.
