IGNOU’s Visakhapatnam Regional Centre, in collaboration with the Navy Education Project of Eastern Naval Command, is conducting awareness and promotion campaigns on admission into its courses for July 2014 session in the Naval area.
The camps will be held at Nausenabaugh on June 7 and 8, at the 104 Area on June 11 and 12 and at the Dolphin Hills residential area on June 14 and 15, to help the large number of Navy personnel and their families living in these areas take advantage of IGNOU programmes which are offered both in Hindi and English media, IGNOU Regional Director S. Raja Rao informed on Friday.
Spot admission will also be done during these camps for the various courses in degree, PG, diploma, PG diploma, certificate and awareness programmes. Last date for admissions is June 20 without late fee and July 21 with a late fee of Rs. 300. Cost of common prospectus is Rs. 200. The Regional Centre of IGNOU, located at Ushodaya Junction in MVP Colony here will remain open on Saturday between 9.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. for selling the prospectus and to receive application forms.
