Holiday BO collections: earns 24.30 cr in 2 days

Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Holiday- A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, released and it seems that Akki's fans are enjoying his latest release.
According to a report in Koimoi, the film recorded the highest Thursday opening ever for any Akshay Kumar film. Holiday also picked up well on its first Saturday. The film earned 12.30 crores on its second day, taking its two days total to 24.30 crores at the domestic box office.
Holiday is a remake of the 2012 Tamil film Thuppakki starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles which was also directed by A.R. Murugadoss.
Akshay essays the role of an Army officer for which Akshay lost weight to fit the character and worked really hard to look 12 years younger.
