At Aapa Giga Ashram, Anandiben appeals ‘Sant shakti’ to boost up Beti Bachao movement

In a bid to further boost up Beti Bachao Samaj Chetana Abhiyan, Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel today called for an imperative cooperation from the Sant Shakti. According to her, their support and inspiration of humankind values shall surely add up vitality to successfully carry out such mass drive. Mrs. Patel today was attending auspicious occasions of Narendra Bapu’s Chaadar vidhi and Tilak ceremony and ‘Rajattula’ of Jivraj Bapu organanized at Aapa Giga Ashram of Shaktidham Chotila in Saurashtra.

While stressing upon the prevention of female foeticide and simultaneously appealing to make such social drive rather dynamic, she stated that with the prevention of female foeticide and Beti Bachao Abhiyan, Gujarat has achieved success; consequently girl birth rate is increased to 904 which was just 804 per 1000 men.

Emphasizing the need of girls’ education and providing them equal rights, Mrs. Anandiben Patel said, “ in this era of knowledge and modern technology, even the girls can step forward with head high in comparison with the boys and so that we have to work out to providing them quality education.

On this occasion, Health Minister Nitin Patel said that Indian civilization has been associated with human help, wherein the saints’ traditions of Saurashtra have always been well-known. Moreover the place of Aapa Giga surely touches upon the service values.

Mr. Purushottam Rupala, a BJP leader, said that the tradition of sympathy and kindness has its roots down in Chotila. And such tradition will be inspiring for the future generations. He further added that the foods here being offered for free without considering any caste discrimination will surely help fight against malnutrition issues.

Shri Valku Bapu, Muktanand Bapu and Bharti Bapu offered blessings on this occasion. Narendra Bapu in his address pledged to everlastingly preserve values of humanity.
