24-year-old woman shot dead in Azamgarh district

VARANASI: A 24-year-old woman was shot dead by miscreants at Bhagwanpur village in Tarwa area in Azamgarh district on Saturday.
According to reports, the woman Seema Yadav was standing near her house when one of the three miscreants shot at her and fled from the scene on their motorcycle. She died on the spot.
Her father Sitaram Yadav made a complaint alleging that she was killed by her husband Pramod Yadav and in-laws for dowry.The other two accused are Ram Avadh Yadav and Vinod Yadav.
The police have started investigating the case.
