Sudeep took a well-deserved break after the release of his recent blockbuster Maanikya. The actor was extremely involved in the making and promotion of the movie, so much so that he personally saw over all the details. Now the actor is back in front of the camera, and is on the set of the Telugu-Tamil bilingual, Bahubali. The movie, which has Telugu star
Prabhas in the lead role, apart from
Anushka Shetty and
Tamannah, is written and directed by SS Rajamouli.
The two-part epic will be shot back-to-back in Tamil and Telugu and sees Sudeep in a cameo. And the actor seems quite happy to be back on the film’s set.
“Bk to th sets of Bahubali...nice to b bk wth SSR sir n his magnificent team,” Sudeep posted on his micro-blogging webpage.
Sudeep's popularity outside of the
Kannada film industry soared after the release of the Telugu hit
Eega. The movie was also dubbed in Hindi and released as
Makkhi. Sudeep debuted in
Bollywood with
Ram Gopal Verma’s
Phoonk. He was also part of the
director’s other Bollywood films such as
Rann,
Phoonk 2, and
Rakht Charitra.
