Marathi cricket tournament gets off to a scenic start at L

The first edition of the Marathi Box Cricket League, held at Lavasa, saw more than 120 stars from the Marathi movie and TV industry in attendance, including Mahesh Manjrekar, Sanjay Narvekar, Sunil Barve, Amruta Khanvilkar, Shruti Marathe, Upendra Limaye and Subodh Bhave.

The first edition of the Marathi Box Cricket League, held at Lavasa, saw more than 120 stars from the Marathi movie and TV industry in attendance, including Mahesh Manjrekar, Sanjay Narvekar, Sunil Barve, Amruta Khanvilkar, Shruti Marathe, Upendra Limaye and Subodh Bhave.

Arranged by Maharashtra Kalanidhi, the league saw eight city teams battling it out, with Thane Shiledar emerging the winners.
They were felicitated by cricketers Sandeep Patil, Dilip Vengsarkar and Scot Wrighton (City Manager).
