BJP leader and Minister Gopinath Munde cremated amid the heavy crowds present in the Beed. His elder daughter Pankaj light the funeral pyre. All it took place in Beed district which was his election constituency in Maharashtra. Yesterday his body was taken to Mumbai from Delhi.

Heavy crowds were present on the occasion to give last tribute to his popular leader Munde. It has been said that there was chaos before the funeral in Parli and Munde's daughter appealed to the crowd to stay calm.
Leaders continue to visit Mumbai and Beed also to pay their last tribute to Munde. Thousands of mourners were gathered on the spot with senior party leaders, activists and commoners received the coffin at Latur airport.
In a shocking incident, the Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde died in a road accident in Delhi. He was on the way towards airport in Delhi when the accidents took place.
The tragic incident happened at Aurobindo Marg in south Delhi. Just after the incident, Munde admitted to AIIMS trauma centre where he died later.
