Xilli is a New Type of Game to Increase Vocabulary and Spelling Skills
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) June 05, 2014 -- Advanced Software Workshop is a startup company with a clear mission: To create very fun games that will help people of all ages increase life skills. The company’s first game, Xilli, (pronounced “Zilly”) is just that. Xilli is being launched on Kickstarter, one of the premier crowd-funding web sites. You may go to http://launch.PlayXilli.com to learn more and download a free trial of the game. Xilli is a game with a tremendous range for vocabulary ability. Xilli can be configured for a 5 year-old just learning to read or for a 95 year-old word master with a massive vocabulary. Xilli seems more like a puzzle game than a word game and, indeed, in the future Xilli will have modes of play that involve numbers, pictures and much more. For enhanced fun, Xilli uses a Secret Agent theme within the game.
Aaron Watts, President of Advanced Software Workshop, states, “Language is the key to all learning and communication. We want to create games that, first of all, are very fun to play. Learning anything can be greatly facilitated if a person is really enjoying the time spent while learning. Our mission is to create games that will help stamp out illiteracy of all types while also helping to create a world that is more fun, more educated and with better communication for all of us.”
A free trial of Xilli (for Windows) is available at http://www.PlayXilli.com. The goal of launching Xilli on Kickstarter is to make Xilli available on all platforms and devices and also allow for both cooperative and competitive play online.
Advanced Software Workshop also plans to add many additional features to Xilli such as foreign languages, different modes of play, detailed sounds menu, and much more.
The team at Advanced Software Workshop has a strong belief that games that encourage cooperative play can help people of all ages and abilities increase communication skills while still having a blast.
