Boy kidnapped outside madrassa

HYDERABAD: A 10-year-old boy was kidnapped from outside a madrassa at Saidabad on Wednesday.
The victim, Mothassim Sufiyan, is the son of Quazi Azmatullah Jaffri. Sufiyan and his elder brother are students of Madrasa Faiz Ul Uloom in Khajabagh at Saidabad.
As the boys were leaving the madrassa on Wednesday evening, four unidentified persons, who were waiting in a van, tried to pull them inside the vehicle.“While the elder boy managed to escape from the clutches of the kidnappers, they caught Sufiyan and sped away from the spot,” Malakpet inspector A Satyanarayana said.
Based on a complaint lodged by Jaffri, a case was registered under section 363 (Kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and a man-hunt was launched to nab the offenders.
