The idea Charlie Brooks embarked on a "military style operation" to hide evidence from police for his wife was dismissed in the hacking trial.

The racehorse trainer who is married to former News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks was "foolish" not criminal when he stashed porn DVDs and computer equipment in the underground car park of his London flat, the Old Bailey heard.
