Ciao, Venezia! Asiana to start summer Italy route on July 8
Asiana Airlines will launch its vacation season flight to Venice, Italy, on July 8. The new flight will operate Tuesday and Friday through Sept. 12. It will be Korea’s first direct flight connecting the two cities.The carrier chose Venice, the famous canal-filled tourist city, because it is close to Croatia and other Balkan countries that recently have gained popularity among Koreans.
The route will use the Boeing 777, which is capable of carrying 296 passengers.
