Azamgarh gang rape: Efforts on to arrest fourth accused
The Saraimeer police of Azamgarh district are yet to arrest the fourth accused of alleged gangrape of a minor girl.Meanwhile the police claimed that the medical report did not support the allegation of gangrape.
VARANASI: The Saraimeer police of Azamgarh district are yet to arrest the fourth accused of alleged gang rape of a minor girl. Meanwhile the police claimed that the medical report did not support the allegation of gang rape.
"The efforts are on nab the fourth accused. The medical report of the girl has been received, but it does not support the allegation," the inspector of Saraimeer police station told Times of India over phone on Saturday.
A 15-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by four persons on Wednesday night.
The matter was reported to police on Thursday after which the police arrested three accused.
