JAMMU, May 31: High Court has stayed the attachment of Kamal Mahendru, Additional Provident Fund Commissioner.
After hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioner, Justice Tashi Rabstan issued notice to Chief Secretary, Chairman Board of Trustees Employees Provident Fund, Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment Department and Provident Fund Commissioner returnable within four weeks.
In the meanwhile subject to the objections from other side and till next date of hearing, High Court ordered that impugned Govt Order No 42-L&E of 2014 dated May 26, 2014 whereby petitioner has been attached with the office of Provident Fund Commissioner till further order and Deputy Labour Commissioner was directed to hold the charge of office of Additional Fund Commissioner, issued by Commissioner/Secretary Labour & Employment, shall remain stayed, the High Court directed.
