Mia chops off her locks for Tina

Mia chops off her locks for Tina
Actress Mia, who replaced Nazriya Nazim in Jean Paul Lal’s second movie Hi, I’m Tony, is set to wow her audience in a new avatar. She has chopped off her long locks and flaunts short, shoulder-length curls now. And this according to Mia, who essays the role of Tina, is a much-awaited move.
“It has been some time since I wanted to undergo a makeover. But since I was shooting for movies back to back, I could not do it.
With Hi, I’m Tony, I found the perfect excuse to shorten my hair, as I had completed my other movies before this schedule,” beams Mia.
Besides her hair, Mia will sport an uber-chic look in the movie, which she also believes makes Tina different from the other characters she has portrayed thus far. “Be it Chettayees, Salaam Kashmir or Visudhan, I have always played mature roles, either as a wife, a mother or a nun. Tina is a fresh graduate in nursing. I will be seen in a modern get-up, and my new haircut will complement the look,” she says.
It’s just not her character that she is kicked about. “Working with a young cast and crew was refreshing. I have always worked with senior crew members, but the only senior on the set of Hi, I’m Tony is Lalettan (actor Lal),” says Mia, who is paired opposite Asif Ali. The two were earlier paired in Salaam Bappu’s Red Wine. Hi, I’m Tony will also see her sharing screen with her Chettayees co-star Biju Menon.
Meanwhile, Mia is awaiting the release of her debut Tamil movie Amara Kavyam with Arya’s brother, Sathya.
