Sunita Narain moves Gujarat HC against NBW

The issue pertains to an article published in 2011 in a magazine of which Narain is the editor. The firm, United Phosphorous Limited, had filed a defamation suit against Narain and others, contending that the magazine published the allegedly defamatory article without verifying facts.

A magisterial court in Vapi had issued summons to Narain and others in the case. When they did not present themselves before the court, the court issued NBW against them and ordered police to present them before the court on June 12.
