UPSEE 2014: UG and PG Admission to UPTU Results delayed

The results of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2014, conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University for UG and PG admission to engineering, pharmacy and architecture courses at institutes affiliated to the university, were supposed to be declared on May 21. However, the results have been delayed and are likely to be declared by May 28 as per a website report.

UPSEE for UG admissions was conducted on April 20, 2014 with around 1.83 lakh candidates appearing for the exam and for PG admissions was held on April 27. Candidates can check their scores at the official website of UPSEE.

Based on performance of the candidates in UPSEE-2014, separate merit lists will be prepared for each course. Merit position, score-card with total marks and marks obtained in each subject shall be available on website shortly.

The cut-off percentage of marks in UPSEE-2014 for the merit of successful candidates is 25 per cent (20 per cent for SC/ST) as per UP State Govt order.

UG Courses available on the basis of UPSEE 2014 score:
1. B. Tech. - Bachelor of Technology (4-year course), first year admissions and lateral second year admissions
2. B. Pharm. - Bachelor of Pharmacy (4-year course) first year admissions and lateral second year admissions
3. B. Arch. - Bachelor of Architecture (5-year course)
4. BHMCT - Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (4-year course)
5. BFAD - Bachelor of Fashion & Apparel Design (4-year course)
6. BFA - Bachelor of Fine Arts (4-year course)

PG Courses available on the basis of UPSEE 2014 score:
MBA - Master of Business Administration
MCA - Master of Computer Applications
BM - Bachelor of Management
BAM - Bachelor of Applied Management
MAM (Dual Degrre) - Master of Applied Management (Dual Degree)

UPSEE score provides admissions to 302 B.Tech, 13 B.Arch, 407 MBA, 134 MCA, 33 M. Pharma and 40 M.Tech institues.
