Tiruvarur district registers 85 pass per centage

Tiruvarur district registered 84.13 pass per centage in the SSLC public examinations. Of the 18,560 students from 203 schools – boys 8,977 and girls 9,583 – who appeared for the examinations, 15,615 candidates – boys 7,233 and girls 8,382 – emerged successful.

Three students – C. Janani Sri (Sri Bharathidasan Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Mannarguri), K. Nuzaifath Nisha (St. Theresa’s Girls HSS, Tiruthuraipoondi) and P. Shivani (R. C. Fathima Matriculation School, Tiruvarur) – tallied 497 marks each to finish joint district toppers.

Six students – K. Balasundari (Rahmath Girls Matriculation HSS, Muthupettai), S. R. Mohanapriya and S. K. Sushmitha (both St. Josephs Girls HSS, Mannargudi), A. Raihanah Thasleem (St. Theresa’s Girls HSS, Tiruthuraipoondi), R. Ranjitha (Devi Matriculation HSS, Melamaravakadu), S. J. Yogha (Sairam Matriculation HSS, Tiruthuraipoondi) – were joint district second with a tally of 496 each.

Six students finished district third totalling 495 marks each: S. Archana (Sri Shanmuka Matriculation HSS, Mannargudi), K. Arulmozhi (Devi Matriculationi HSS, Melamaravakkadu), A. Nabila Jafrana (St. Theresa’s Girls HSS, Thiruthuraipoondi), M. Suriyaprakash (Nava Bharath Matriculation HSS, Ullikottai), S. Swane (The Merit HSS, Senthamangalam) and B. Varshapoorani (Sri Sankara Matriculation HSS, Peralam).
