TEMPO.CO, New Delhi - Indonesia's women's team had to experience a defeat when facing South Korea in the final group match of Uber Cup. Playing in Siri Fort, New Delhi, India, Indonesia lost 1-4, with the only victory presented by Adrianti Firdasari.
Adrianti defeated South Korean starlet Hyo Min Kim in two sets 21-15, 21-13. On either matches, single player Lindaweni Fanetri and Maria Febe Kusumastuti failed to score victory, as well as the women's doubles, Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysia Polii, and Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah/Suci Rizky Andini.
The women's team seemed to fail keeping up with the men's achivement of topping the group match and being undefeated in group match of Thomas Cup. Regardless, Indonesia women's team walked out as a group runner up below South Korea on top of the table.
