Swami Nithyananda, the godman who gained notoriety after alleged leaked sex tapes of him and actress Ranjitha hit the media, has been someone whose life has drawn a lot of curiosity. While he had a following in India and abroad, these controversies have also made him a popular person discussed on social media platforms.
While he didn't take the bait when the Hindi version of Bigg Boss approached him last year, it looks like the Kannada version is keen on trying their luck now.This time around, speculations are rife that the newer channel, Suvarna, which will air the second season of the reality show, is trying all ways to rope in A-listers. Considering the controversial image of Nithyananda, they're keen on getting someone like him, who has a wider appeal, as opposed to more locally relevant names.
Nithyananda's English discourses are also a rage on social media, because of his unique way of rendering them, as well as his language. It is now to be seen whether he will accept this offer the second time around, despite the fact that the Kannada show is much smaller in its reach as opposed to a nationally popular Hindi version.
