I feared Laxmi would slap me: Rajesh Khera

Rajesh Khera, who plays Maharani, a transgender in Uttaran, was apprehensive on learning that transgender celebrity Laxmi Tripathi was unhappy about how her community is being represented on the show. Said Rajesh, “I got to know that Laxmi expressed her displeasure about the ongoing track to the channel. A day later, she visited the set. I was so scared, I wanted to run away. I thought I would be beaten up.She was accompanied by a transgender who had acted with me in the show. He calmed me down and introduced me to Laxmi.”

“I feared Laxmi would slap me, but was pleasantly surprised when she said, ‘You’re doing a very fine job’,” added the actor.
