BHOPAL: Union minister Kamal Nath is leading by 14,000 votes in Chhindwara as per latest trends.
BJP is still confident of giving a tough fight to Kamal Nath on his traditional Lok Sabha seat, drawing courage from its performance in 2013 assembly elections. BJP had won four out of seven seats during the assembly elections.
Kamalnath has defeated BJP rival Chaudhary Chandrabhan Singh twice in the past.

Lok Sabha polls in Chhindwara have always remained loyal to Kamal Nath, who is winning from here since 1980 and later retained the seat in 1984, 1989, 1991, 1998, 1999, 2004 and 2009, except in 1996.
BJP's Narendra Singh Tomar is trailing in Gwalior while Sushma Swaraj is leading in Vidisha.
