Sweaty students waited in line, some for more than three hours, to meet the cast of "Neighbors" — or, more specifically, Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Jerrod Carmichael — on Thursday.
Screams erupted from the line snaking down the UA Mall when the trio finally made their entrance and sat down at a table to sign autographs. The line stalled at times due to excessive selfie snapping, prompting volunteers to ask the audience many times to put the phones away. That didn’t stop the crowd, though; one brave fan ran over from outside of the barrier and stole a kiss on the cheek from Franco, capturing the exchange on her cell phone camera.

The screams grew louder closer to the table where the trio sat signing promotional movie posters and one fan was seen wiping away tears.
The three actors weren’t fazed by the commotion. They joked easily with the crowd and amongst themselves about signing "do drugs" on one of the posters.
The actors will make a second appearance at the UA today when Gallagher Theater holds a free film screening on campus at 7 p.m. Franco, Mintz-Plasse, and Carmichael also will answer fan questions afterward. Tweet your questions with the hashtag #NeighborsUA.
"Neighbors" is due out to theaters on May 9.
