University of Georgia head football coach Mark Richt delighted a crowd of Bulldogs supporters in Gainesville, Ga by cracking wise about his latest diet.

The line: “I’ve lost 20 pounds — I went from gross to kind of fat.”

Now, Richt is being a little disingenuous here. It’s fantastic he lost some weight and got healthy, of course. Was he a big guy? Sure. But in the power ranking of overweight football coaches, Richt isn’t even in the discussion. There are PLENTY of college football coaches who would be DELIGHTED to have the body Mark Richt is working with.

This is a pretty in-shape guy for his age, no? You aren’t gross, Mark Richt! Don’t let anyone tell you that!
