Nayanthara skips Anaamika's audio launch

The audio of Sekhar Kammula's Anamika, which was slated to be launched today, was expected to be a star studded affair. Much to everyone's surprise, Nayanthara, the lead actress in the film, herself was missing in action. This, inadvertently, has lend credence to rumours that she has been giving a tough time to the makers of Anamika by refusing to promote the film. Last year, the principal shooting of the film had to be delayed by at least couple of months since she's was a tad too busy to wrap up the film.
Earlier this month, when everything was set to launch the audio on April 16, the event had to be postponed at the last minute because of Nayanthara. With less than ten days to go for the film's release, it remains to be seen if the actress will come out to promote the film since Sekhar Kammula had been doing everything on his own.
Anaamika is the Telugu version of Vidya Balan starrer Kahani. M M Keeravani has scored the music and the film is slated for release on May 1.
