Another Space Fireball Explodes Over Russia (VIDEO)

Another Fireball Explodes Over Russia...

Last year a meteor famously exploded over Chelyabinsk in Russia, injuring 1,000 people and blanketing the web in amazing videos and pictures of space at its most dangerous.

Well, it just happened again.

Dashboard-mounted cameras across Russia just captured footage of another something exploding above the country on 19 April. This fireball was much smaller than the one which hit Chelyabinsk in 2013, but it was still big enough to stop drivers in their cars and create a huge flash in the sky.

This time the rock exploded above Murmansk in the Kola Peninsula - near the border of Finland. It's not even that near to the site of the previous impact (Russia is about 7 million square miles in size, after all).

Nobody was injured in the latest blast and scientists are yet to confirm it really was a meteor - it could have been falling space debris.

Still the video is pretty dramatic. Take a look, above.
