This has reference to the news item ‘More than 10,000 Ladakhis students may not be able to exercise democratic right’ DE April 17.
The Election Commission of India should make special arrangements for these students to enable them cast their votes. This huge number may be a decisive factor in the Ladakh Lok Sabha seat which is going to polls on May 5.
Since they can not afford air travel at this time due to high air fare, arrangements must be made for them at Jammu to cast their votes.
