Body of Aaron Hoyt of Northfield found Monday
Searchers found the body of a swimmer missing since last week.The body of Aaron Hoyt, 32, of Northfield, was found in the Smith River about a half mile below Profile Falls in Bristol.Conservation officers patrolling in boats found Hoyt’s body around 9:30 a.m. Monday.Officials said Hoyt jumped into the water at Profile Falls around 7:45 p.m. April 14.Authorities said he was with two friends who watched him go downstream in the rapids until he was out of sight. Those people called 911.Officials said they are also concerned about a social media trend called Polar Plunge, in which people jump into cold water. They said there are some indications this incident was related to the trend, though there is no evidence of a request or dare being made.12967056

Searchers found the body of a swimmer missing since last week.
