The Dutch Cup final between Ajax and PFC Zwolle was full of fireworks. Ajax’s Ricardo van Rhijn gave his team the lead in the third minute with a spectacular long-range shot from a corner.

A fan seated behind the goal caught the strike on video, and it defies description.

Just moments later, fans at the other end pelted the pitch with fireworks and smoke bombs, causing a 30 minute delay.

The game resumed, but was delayed again when fans continued to throw objects on the field. According to the BBC, Ajax coach Frank de Boer wanted to abandon the match, but things eventually settled down and Zwolle won 5-1.
