With the 2014 Lok Sabha elections having begun in different phases in the country, Marathi actors are making sure that their votes count. Though the actors are busy shooting outstation, they are making quick trips to their hometowns to cast their votes. From wrapping up early to taking an off on the required day, the Marathi film industry actors sure know their duty towards the nation.
Keeping the election dates in mind, even directors are opting for night shifts so as to facilitate voting by their cast and crew. Sanjay Jadhav, director of 'Pyar Vali Love Story', said, ���We shot in the evening on April 17 as most of the film���s unit is from Pune and they went to the city to vote. It was a conscious decision on our part to manage things in a way that the the whole unit could go cast their votes.���
