Miss Cultural Harvest Festival contestants giving the audience at Summer Mall in Kota Samarahan a last look at Kitschen’s line of clothing.
KOTA SAMARAHAN: Finalists of the Miss Cultural Harvest Festival 2014 modelled outfits from Kitschen Boutique, in an afternoon showcase held at Summer Mall here yesterday.
A total of 22 outfits were flaunted on stage as contestants took to the catwalk to introduce themselves to the crowd.
The finalists are Dee Dee A’iene (19 years old), Valerina Aren Alfred (18), Diana Sim Siew Ling (24), Atika Eli (18), Sapphira Elisha (20), Josephine Jelawat (23), Angelia Lois (19), Carmilla Ivy (20), Joanna Cynthia (24), Miselle Octovie (23) and Caroline Meza (23). The annual pageant is organised by Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) as part of the World Harvest Festival 2014 which will be held at SCV from May 2 to 4.
Apart from the Grand Finale of Miss Cultural Harvest Festival, audience will be treated to a staging of ‘Sibauk and The Magic Golden Seeds” adapted from a Bidayuh legend.
International guests will be performing at the festival. This includes Nitto Rong Organisation from Bangladesh, Ranranga Dance Academy from Sri Lanka, and Tari Seggar Bengkawan Kalimantan from Indonesia.
Apart from that, a few strong men will be competing in the Ironman WHF 2014.
Visitors can also enjoy the Sarawak Ethic Kitchen and Crafts Festival.
