Coach Ryuji Kawai's team regrouped in a big, bold way and pounded the 89ers on Sunday, winning 113-91.
Patrick Sanders' long-range shooting fueled the victory, the University of California-Irvine alum making 7 of 9 3-pointers en route to 21 points. He was 14-for-21 from beyond the arc over the weekend. As a team, Shinshu (31-19) sank 18 of 36 3-point shots.
