Order for proper security at polling centres

KANPUR: The district election officer on Saturday asked the officials to provide adequate security at Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya in Vishnupuri, which is a polling centre.
At Kasturba School, there are three booths and eight booths are there in a nearby Parishad School. The officials were told to depute a static magistrate and deploy rooftop security at the polling centre.
Proper security arrangements were also ordered at Ram Lala School having 22 booths. A team of two senior officials inspected various schools in Maswanpur, Kalyanpur and Rawatpur to review the security arrangements.
